  First and last time at this place. Definitely would not recommend. Ordered a seafood basket, extra piece of fish and a cool drink. Everything was overcooked. Batter was brown like burnt. The fish was dry and tasted old. The chips tasted like they'd been in and out of the fryer all day (lucky you only get a handful). Not happy after spending almost $40 the amount of food for that price and condition was appalling. YUK

  Have got fish and chips from here 4 times now, only once it was nice… tonight’s fish and chips, chips were nice, fish was really awful! Not only was it very very greasy and absolutely no crispness to the batter (was very sloppy) the fish was dry almost tough, was like chicken texture but dry chicken.. ate some of the chips and through the fish in the bin… will never go there again… secret harbour fish and chips and In yer basket baldivis are way superior. 1 star is for the chips.

  Disgusting. Saw what I thought were rats in the kitchen. Rude service. Definitely not going back.

  Sorry to say this was the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Chips were raw and the fish was extremely greasy. We ordered four serves and they were all the same. No one finished their food due to mainly the under cooked chips. Had them years ago and wasn't impressed then but thought I would give them another go.
  Service was excellent very friendly staff.

  Unfortunately I am writing this review. As being in hospitality owning a well renowned hotel motel bar and bistro I am well aware of customer service and as proprietors we are obliged to make good any default we may make, which we do at times.
  I have just had an experience with the owner of this establishment and be it over a petty 6 squid rings it is the manner in which the issue was handled by the owner.
  After bringing to her attention the fact I was short changed on the order I was promptly told I would not be re imburst until a later date, being after she had viewed the cctv security cameras and checking the docket which was not available at this time. I will point out that I have been a very regular client at this establishment for many years and that there have never been any issues noting that it was a genuine mistake that could of been so easily remedied. The out burst talking over loud attitude and refusal of this owner to make good the mistake until cctv footage was viewed , again I will say 6 squid rings is more than absurd and as a consequence I 100% do not recommend this establishment and will never again offer my business to them, sadly, very disappointed and let down..
